Hard carbon felt

Hard carbon felt is an insulating material produced from graphite fibers and a carbon binding.

Depend on the type of carbon fiber and binding and on the thermal treatment conditions. To improve the heat insulation properties, the hard carbon felt can be reinforced with carbon tissue and laminated with graphite foil (graflex) that provides heat reflection into the inner part of the furnace and serves as a barrier for the convection of hot gases. Felt is not compressed and contracted under normal exploitation conditions.

Application fields:
Used as slabs, cylinders, and other construction units in high-temperature furnaces.

Hard graphite felt is produced in slabs 2000х1000х20 (30, 40, 50) mm in size and as cylinders D1000, V1000, Т300 mm. Other sizes can be presented on demand.
